Balloons were up, banners were hung, table was set and the cake was ready.
The boy arrived after a short but needed nap. His eyes lit up and wondered if Santa had visited once again.
Grayson was told that it is a must to make a wish on your birthday, so he complied. Since his parents have granted almost every wish he had dreamed of, Grayson struggled to think of one...
"Ahh-ha!" he thought with a devilish smile.
After a round of presents opening, Grayson was begining to get tired, "but who naps on their birthday?!"
It was time for Grayson to take his first ride in his "big boy car seat" when the family got a call from the showing service. After his dad "figured out" how to turn the car seat around in a hurry, Grayson was ready to "look forward" to what's coming rather than watch things passing by.
It took a few minutes to get acclimated to the intimidating new position, but G found a way to make peace with the change...
.
His mom and dad circled around town as long as they could, in hopes that G would get some good rest while the house was being shown.
Just like Christmas, Grayson got a "round 2" of celebration when he woke up and when his MiMi came over...
.
More cool presents were opened and another cake was cut. The little boy was filled with joy!
.
One may wonder... what was it that the boy wished for?! A pony? Transformers? An Elmo limo? Nah... the boy had a grander idea...
On his 1st birthday, he wished for a sale on their home. The home that his family has had many beautiful memories in, but had outgrown. Grayson remembered the hard work everyone poured in to get it on the market, and the many moments that his parents killed themselves to keep the house in "showing condition"...
About 4 days after the wish was made... a miracle came through in the form of an e-mail from the listing agent. An offer was proposed and the family was glad to accept.
