Skills!

Grayson has learned a few "skills" since we last blogged. One of which was clapping his hands (started on December 8th... thanks Tish)! Like most babies, he asscoiates clapping with joy, and often has a biggo smile on his face when he does it. Of course, we encourage it by cheering "Yay!" See video below:

Something else that G learned how to do is pulling up to a sitting position (December 5th) from being on all fours. He is quite a pro at it now. Lots of times when we walk into his room after he lets us know that he is awake, he is sitting straight up...looking at us smiling! Like this!

So a day or so after that, we lowered his crib and also the chances of him busting his head open...

Grayson and his mom went to get his flu shot the other day... he did GREAT! Took it like a man! Now we are ready for the winter! While they were at the doc, G got on a scale. Ready?! He is now 25 pounds 13 ounces! No wonder why our backs have been hurting more lately!

Oh another skill! Waving at people! He has been waving his hand for a while, but more because he was excited and such. But on December 8th (yeah what a day huh), he waved good bye to his Mimi when she was leaving! How cool is that!?

Being parents is so great, not always easy but overall, a wonderful experience. We are now eagerly looking forward to him gaining "adult food eating skills"... it is a pretty good skill to have. :-)
