Ba-bye!

Grayson used not to be all that great at goodbyes. When it came to telling his mimi bye or when his Barney DVD came to the end, he'd get so upset. It didn't matter how much we explained Mimi and Barney would be back. He was always too upset to listen.

But nowadays, G handles goodbyes very well. As long as he can see his Mimi and BArney off, he's ok. As a matter of fact, many times he realizes when someone or something is going away. He waves at my mom whenever she picks her keys and purse up. He waves at his One year video as the last song goes off, and of course, he recognizes it when the last scene of his Barney DVD. Maybe it is because I am emotional or maybe it is because the moment is touching...watching G wave goodbye to Barney has really put me in tears. As he gives Barney the "last look" & waves so sweetly, i is obvious how much he loves Barney.

And his latest thing is putting his hand in front of his face, and wave (towards himself) & say "bye" or good bye... it is so cute!! :-)
