Ever since he was born, Grayson has been a picky eater. His list of "etable" consists of no more then 10 things. It is quite sad but it is what it is. We are looking into getting him some occupational theropy in the coming months to combat that. It is very rare that G is willing to try a new food. No matter how tasty or small we make them... he MIGHT put it in his mouth but 9 out of 10 times he spits it back out or gags!
We hate that most of things he likes to eat are what we consider "not so healthy" foods. However, our doctor told us that it is best to give him whatever he would eat since he was losing weight. "Healthy" goods are just absolutely unappealing to him... heck, MOST foods are unappealing to him!
One day recently, Grayson decided he wanted to try a grape. The first he did (by accident), he hated it. This time, he liked it and asked for more. Most people we know peel the skin off before giving it to their child. But Grayson does not mind the skin! Every time he see grapes nowadays, he asks for it. Actually, only green grapes. Red ones are rejected. His favorite to do is holding them in his hands. They keep him company while he watches TV, climbs the stairs, plays with toys... Tonight, he held onto one during his entire bath! :-) He was SO mad when I finally took it away! I am just grateful that he enjoys eating something healthy!
