When you look at recent pictures of Grayson, it is obvious he’s growing. Our boy changes from day to day – in his looks but also in his ways. He rarely likes to be held like a baby (cradled) anymore unless he is being rocked to sleep. He prefers to be in the burping position (over your shoulder) or sitting upright facing outward. Because he’s very strong and is interested in everything, he gets bored pretty easily. He doesn’t like sitting still (unless you have him stretched out on your thighs with your legs propped up at an incline). Grayson likes to bounce, dance, go outside, etc.

While he is a peaceful and happy baby, he’s an “on the go” kind of baby too. He likes to DO! That works out perfectly because Ray and I do too. When all the rain stops and when we have a little more free time, we plan to take frequent trips to the park to see the ducks, to the botanical gardens to enjoy the vegetation, cool breeze and shade trees, to the aquarium to see all the fishes, to the zoo to see and smell the animals…and to show him how similar he is to real monkeys (we call him our little G-Monkey)
.
.
and eventually, camping! We certainly aren’t wishing our time away, but we really look forward to all we’ll be doing with Grayson in the near future.
