Fire in the hole!

Tish and I often joke about how Grayson will be playing professional sports one day due to his size/growth. Funny thing is friends have already requested free tickets ahead of time to watch him play... Since he has a "death grip" and a "mean kick", maybe he can use them to his advantage in the future. :-)

Grayson began sleeping through the night a few weeks ago. He averages about 7-8 hours a night. But sometimes he wakes up in the middle of the night due to a wet diaper or a strange noise. Our typical method to soothe him back to sleep is giving him a pacifier. 9 of 10 times he will suck on it and spit it back out when he is comforted, then fall back asleep. Every now and then the trick does not work. Instead of going back to sleep, Grayson starts rolling around like crazy. Giving him a pacifier is like a cowboy trying to tame a buck wild stallion! He learned to "buck" us by grabbing his pacifier out of his mouth to protest. Not only does he takes it out of his mouth, he quickly extends his arm over to the inside wall of crib and drops it into the gap! It often makes a loud noise which wakes him up even more! What a brat. It is hilarious though and reminds me of an army guy throwing a grenade into a fox hole!

I guess Grayson might have a future career in the military too.
