Investigator Grayson

Before Grayson was born, I read in a baby horoscope book that his sign is VERY curious. It mentioned that he would be fascinated by computers and would later take things apart. At 6 1/2 months old, I'm already seeing what a little investigator Grayson is.

For a long time, we've showed G how to splash in the bath (and now in the swimming pool). He seems to enjoy it but hasn't really caught on to doing it by himself. During and after Gray's bath every night, Ray pours water on him - over his hand, chest, belly, etc. He loves watching the water fall. And when the stream of H2O is pouring over his hand, he tries to grab it. When the container is empty and Ray pulls it away to refill it, that's one time that Grayson definitely splashes! He wants more of the water show! It is so cute!

Grayson has several wind up stuffed animals that play music. The two he likes most have a wind up on the rear. And in addition to playing music, the animals' heads move side to side. G loves them. For a while, he either laid beside them, looked up at them, and watched their heads moving OR he'd grab them by the leg and toss them off the couch. :) But here lately, I've noticed him flipping them over (especially his giraffe) and watching the wind up piece spinning round and round. Oh it is so cool to watch Gray learn. :)

And as we've mentioned before, Grayson enjoys rubbing and scratching things (the wall, his rocking chair, his crib, his sheets, our arms, his face, etc). Many times, when he wakes up from his nap, I walk in his room to find him jibber jabbering and rubbing/scratching the wood on his crib. When we picked it out, we thought it was a nice wood, but we had no idea Gray would like it so much! ;)
