Grayson is saying more and more every day. We really should start writing things down that he says because I know the list of words I'll mention in this blog entry is incomplete.
.
First, while his MahMah (Ray's mom) was here, he waved and said "bye" at the same time. He's said "bye" before and waved many times, but that was the first time he had ever put them together. Also, that time, his "bye" was so clear. Mine and Ray's hearts melted when we heard his voice. :)
.
He's also been perfecting certain words like "cheese" and "juice". For a while, "cheese" was "cheeee" and "juice" was "juuuu". But in the last few weeks, he started saying "cheese" and "juice".
.
While riding in the car yesterday, a big truck passed us. I told him that was a "truck". Immediately, he said, "guck". It seems our little guy likes his letter (G) a lot, but I'm positive that was his best first attempt at the word "truck". Then, last night, when we were out and about, he saw a truck on his own and said "guck". Smart boy!
.
Over the weekend, we visited my mom. Gray enjoys hanging out at his Mimi's place. Number one, anything to do with her is always cool. Number two, her place is a different place for him to explore. While hanging out with her in the kitchn, he opened her pantry. She said, "Uh oh. You see lots of goodies, huh?" He said, "Good-dee-deee-deee-deee-deee". :)
.
And Grayson's favorite word is currently "bubble". He says it so well. He has seen Barney blowing bubbles on his favorite DVD for a while. Also, we recently set his bubble machine back up in the bathroom so he can enjoy bubbles while he bathes. The bubbles blow into his face and pop on his nose, on his lips, and even in his eyes. He loves it! When Ray tries to move him back, he just scoots back to where he was. :)
.
Oh and I cannot forget to mention how G likes calling Ray and I. He'll say "BaBaBaBaBa", switch over to "MomMomMomMom" and then go back to "BaBaBaBaBa". It is so cute. :)
