our smart boy (ANOTHER story)

Grayson likes digging in our night stand. I'm not fond of him doing it, but there are some things in it I don't mind him playing with. So, he's used to me standing behind him as he digs. I either take something from him and say "thank you" or I let him play with it.

Yesterday, he opened our night stand drawer and pulled out a big pair of nail clippers. I said, "No, let's don't play with that" and bent over to take it from him. Before I had time to reach down for them, he bent over and put the clippers to his toes. We use the big pair of clippers for our toenails, and he knows this! Gosh, he's so smart!
