Zander had his first in office doctor visit on 12/29/08. Because Z is brand new, we didn't have an official appointment. Our doctor just told us to show up that morning around 8. Newborns get top priority!

It was a quick visit. The nurse weighed Z but didn't tell us what it was...and we didn't notice. We were too busy just being parents, concerning ourselves with our naked baby who was having to lay on a hard scale. And we didn't think to ask her before we left the office! I will have to call next week to get his weight so I can document it.

Other than that, not much was done. Z had been checked by the doctor every day during his hospital stay - and checked out perfectly every time besides having a touch of jaundice. At the visit, he told us Z's little bit of jaundice had cleared up. There wasn't even a need to do the jaundice test.

Within 10 or 15 minutes, we were given a thumbs up and sent on our way. :)

Since we were trying to run out the door without upsetting Grayson and were busy trying to make sure we had all a newborn could need (it's been a while since we've had one ya know?), we forgot our camera. That is very unlike us! But fortunately, Ray's cell phone has a good camera. I took these pictures with it.
