For a month or so now I guess, Grayson is really into Show and Tell. He likes to be given a detailed "tour" of certain places in our house. One is our mantle. The other is our built in desk upstairs. Both have pictures lined up on them.

First, he asks to be picked up. As you hold him, he wants you to point at (or pick up) each frame, explain who's in the picture, and give him a few seconds to look at it. On the mantle, we have other things besides picture frames - like Granny's clock and other keepsakes. He likes you to tell him about those too. He smiles so big as he listens to you talk to him about how a particular picture is of "Mom and BaBa", "Daisy", or whoever.

And there's this one photo we have hanging in our front formal dining room of Ray and I. It was taken the day we were married. Gray loves to be picked up so he can look at the picture straight on. He loves all pictures we have displayed, but it seems pictures of himself or Ray and I together bring the biggest smiles to his face.

G just loves looking at pictures period. He has this baby photo album with older pictures of him, me and him, his dad and him, and all of us together. He LOVES looking at them. He flips from page to page smiling. Looking at pictures of himself makes him so happy. It's cause he knows he's been loved since Day 1. I know he can see it in the pictures...and the expressions on his face in them makes him feel happy. :)
